Anti-Corruption Statement

As a wholly owned subsidiary of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, ICBC International has attached great importance to compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as professional integrity of our staff. We have zero tolerance of bribery or corruption of or by our staff, agents, vendors or other business partners.
Our staff are prohibited from soliciting, accepting or offering anything of value in conducting or retaining business; or soliciting or accepting anything of value from others as a reward for or inducement to doing any act or showing favour in relation to ICBC International’s business. Such prohibition applies when dealing with government officials, candidates for office, employees and officers of clients, customers, counterparties or suppliers, agents of the aforesaid parties. Examples of anything of value include cash, loans, gift, fee, entertainment, travel, offers of employment etc.
We are also cautious of heightened risk when hiring intermediaries for business opportunities. When hiring intermediaries, we must adhere to internal procedures concerning the diligence and oversight of relationship with intermediaries.
To uphold a corrupt-free environment, we encourage our clients and business partners to report any suspected misconduct identified when dealing with us by email to info@icbci.icbc.com.cn. We will keep the whistle-blower’s identity confidential and investigate in appropriate manner.
